Process Improvement Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead process improvement initiatives within the Amazon Customer Excellence System (ACES) to enhance safety, quality, and productivity across delivery stations.
• Analyze quantitative data from the Amazon network to identify problems and validate findings through on-site observations and qualitative feedback.
• Implement and scale new systems and processes from international Amazon sites (North America, EU) to the Japanese market.
• Drive the PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) cycle by quantifying waste and prioritizing improvements based on data-driven insights.
• Collaborate with station managers, site leaders, and international stakeholders to standardize and expand successful improvement measures.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Proven experience in process improvement, project management, or problem-solving within a business environment.
• Business-level proficiency in both Japanese and English (reading, writing, and speaking).
• Ability to travel to various delivery stations (approximately 50% of working days).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience driving on-site improvements using Lean or Toyota Production System (TPS) methodologies.
• Technical proficiency with databases and analytical tools (e.g., SQL, Excel, MySQL, Redshift, or MS SQL Server).
• Experience working effectively within diverse, multinational teams and contributing to an inclusive culture.
