Process Improvement Engineer

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical owner for all equipment and tooling within assigned production areas
• Lead hands-on troubleshooting and support for equipment and process issues to improve OEE
• Partner with maintenance and operations teams to implement sustainable solutions and preventive maintenance strategies
• Develop and sustain manufacturing control plans, process standards, and work instructions
• Drive structured problem-solving using root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives
• Collaborate with engineering teams on new product introduction (NPI), equipment procurement, and installation
• Champion safety by driving closure of safety actions and maintaining LOTO compliance

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering, Operations, or Quality support roles
• Hands-on experience troubleshooting high-volume manufacturing equipment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field
• Knowledge of PLC, distributed I/O, and servo controls
• Experience with robotics, fabrication, or injection molding equipment
• Experience with mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems
• Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma experience/certification
• Formal project management experience or training
