About the role

Responsibilities

  • Manage the operation, maintenance, and emergency repair of electrical and automation systems.
  • Develop, execute, and continuously improve Preventive Maintenance (PM) plans.
  • Monitor equipment status, inspection cycles, and maintenance frequency for electrical and automation devices.
  • Prepare technical feasibility plans for equipment repair and upgrades while supervising maintenance quality.
  • Perform fault diagnosis, analyze operational data, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Lead and coordinate engineers and IFM teams to ensure equipment reliability and operational excellence.
  • Provide technical training to staff regarding equipment principles and maintenance skills.
  • Manage spare parts inventory and usage strategies to ensure stable operations.
  • Supervise electrical and automation system construction, commissioning, and validation.
  • Collaborate with the EHS department to ensure equipment compliance and assist in accident investigations.

Requirements

  • Associate degree or above in Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical, or Pharmaceutical Engineering.
  • 9+ years of experience in electrical automation operation and maintenance (O&M).
  • 7+ years of O&M experience specifically within a pharmaceutical environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CAD software.
  • Strong knowledge of GMP regulations and pharmaceutical industry standards.
  • Expertise in the maintenance and validation of BMS (Building Management Systems) and EMS (Environmental Monitoring Systems).
  • Proven ability to diagnose and troubleshoot common electrical and automation faults.
  • Possession of a valid high and low voltage electrician certificate.
  • Strong communication, coordination, and teamwork skills.
