Process Environment Engineer

Responsibilities

• Coordinate HVAC equipment installation from initial concept through final design approval and implementation.
• Support plant expansions, continuous improvement projects, and technology changes during equipment rebuilds or repairs.
• Act as an individual contributor or project leader to develop project plans, schedules, scopes of work, and cost estimations.
• Interface with project managers, supervisors, and subject matter experts to ensure correct technology scoping and installation.
• Perform capsule design work using airflow management principles and HVAC standards.
• Lead or support troubleshooting and problem-solving exercises for enclosure systems.
• Manage external suppliers in Asia for detailed technical design or installation work.
• Maintain documentation integrity and perform conceptual/detailed design, including CAD drawing updates and design reviews.

Requirements

• BS in HVAC or Mechanical Engineering.
• 3 years of professional work experience.
• Experience in HVAC or semiconductor cleanroom operations.
• Experience in the construction of HVAC systems or semiconductor cleanrooms.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with HVAC design best practices and cleanroom operations.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD or SolidWorks for reviewing drawings and models.
• Knowledge of thermodynamics, heat transfer, and fluid dynamics.
• Skills in data analysis, project management, and airflow simulation.
• Experience using statistical tools and Designed Experiments (DOE) for problem-solving.
• Familiarity with control systems and material science.
