Process Engineering Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of Process Safety Management (PSM) elements at the facility.
• Act as the site Risk Analysis Methodologist, facilitating PHA, HAZOP, LOPA, and other risk assessment methodologies for existing plants and new projects.
• Oversee and audit critical safety processes, including Management of Change (MOC), Pre-Startup Safety Reviews (PSSR), and Asset Integrity Management (AIM).
• Facilitate process safety incident investigations using Apollo RCA methodology and communicate lessons learned across the organization.
• Coordinate facility siting (FSS) efforts, including risk modeling with external providers and interpreting results for project support.
• Develop and deliver PSM training programs to key disciplines to foster a strong safety culture.
• Monitor and report on PSM metrics and performance through dashboards and management updates.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 standards and local regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
• 8 to 10 years of experience in Operations or Process Engineering, preferably within a chemical manufacturing environment.
• Deep knowledge of PSM standards and methodologies including PHA, HAZOP, LOPA, and SIL.
• Proficiency in Apollo RCA (Root Cause Analysis) methodology.
• Strong understanding of ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 management systems.
• Fluency in English.
• Experience with consequence simulation and interpretation of pressure relief valve calculations.
