Process Engineering Manager EMEA

Responsibilities

• Act as the technical authority for process and mechanical engineering across the EMEA region.
• Accountable for identifying, assessing, and mitigating high-severity process and machinery safety risks.
• Define and ensure compliance with Haleon facilities and utilities design standards.
• Execute functional strategies and drive strategic implementation to reduce EHS and business risks.
• Manage the design, operation, and lifecycle of facilities and utilities, including wastewater treatment and fire protection.
• Build regional engineering capabilities by developing site-based talent and fostering global professional networks.
• Lead regional engineering audits to ensure compliance with internal standards and external regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years of leadership experience managing multidisciplinary process or mechanical engineering teams.
• Expert-level understanding of process and mechanical systems within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven expertise in infrastructure lifecycle management.
• Significant experience with facility and utility equipment within an FMCG or similar manufacturing sector.
• Demonstrated track record of driving change programs and partnering cross-functionally to achieve business goals.
• Strong ability to use data to inform prioritization and resource deployment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Chartered Engineer status with the IMechE or a similar professional body.
• Certified Energy Manager designation.
• Strong influencing, negotiation, and communication skills.
• High degree of learning agility, particularly regarding sustainability and evolving industry trends.
• Experience managing preferred vendors and working with Procurement and Legal teams.
