Process Engineering Manager

Responsibilities

• Define and implement engineering capability ownership plans and strategies to support corporate business objectives
• Establish a culture that values engineering capability, technical depth, and the deployment of the scientific method
• Manage organization resources, including people, budgets, and labs, to support strategic business goals
• Direct the organization to deliver robust, cost-effective technical solutions for superior quality and service
• Coach and develop the next generation of technical leaders across the company
• Build effective technical networks with internal stakeholders and external partners, including academia and research labs
• Champion core capability enhancement through initiatives such as LEAN, Project Management, and Process Excellence

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Science or Engineering
• Green Belt certification
• Progressive experience in engineering leadership, including managing multiple departments
• Experience in second-level supervision
• Proven track record of delivering significant capital projects to manufacturing
• Demonstrated ability to grow talent and lead teams to meet continuous improvement goals

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Science or Engineering
• Experience with both early-stage innovation projects and mature business operations
• External recognition such as Black Belt, Lean, or PMI certification
• Experience managing strategy, capital, and the innovation process
• Experience working with multiple manufacturing processes or functional groups
