About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform process simulation for model-based optimization and analysis using Aveva Process Simulation
- Conduct simulation data analysis in Python to identify influencing factors and drive process optimization
- Create and develop dashboards in Python for monitoring and optimizing manufacturing processes
- Support investment and development projects by creating process flow diagrams, mass and energy balances, and designing equipment like heat exchangers
- Carry out material flow analyses and manage independent sub-projects
- Discuss results and findings with plant experts and stakeholders
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Computational Engineering Science, or a comparable field
- Completed relevant coursework in (Thermal) Process Engineering, Thermodynamics, and Heat and Mass Transfer
- Proficiency in English and German language skills for global communication
- Experience with process simulation tools such as Aspen Plus, Aveva Process Simulation, or INOSIM is preferred
- Proficiency in data analysis tools like Python or Matlab is preferred
- A passion for process development and new technologies
