Process Engineer (Utilities & WWT)

Responsibilities

• Lead process safety performance and participate in all plant HSE functions and activities.
• Troubleshoot process and quality problems in the manufacturing process and facilitate Root Cause Analyses.
• Track, control, and report on key performance metrics including energy consumption and financial KPIs.
• Provide technical support for the development, execution, and commissioning of capital projects.
• Manage environmental compliance by compiling and reporting air, water, and solid waste data to regulatory entities.
• Support wastewater treatment (WWT) and plant utility operations, including boilers, cooling water, and compressed air.
• Drive Management of Change (MOC) and participate in Process Hazard Analyses (PHA).
• Develop standard operating procedures, best practices, and technical training for operators.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering field.
• Experience reading and developing P&IDs.
• Ability to perform heat and material balances around unit operations.
• Working knowledge of wastewater treatment operations and environmental regulations.
• Knowledge of plant utilities such as boilers, water softeners, and chilled water.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (documents, spreadsheets, and presentations).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
