Process Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide technical engineering, quality, and program support for advanced quality planning and process control.
• Establish GD&T criteria and critical process features from customer-supplied documentation.
• Create and manage all customer and company quality documentation within the ERP system.
• Develop fixture concepts in collaboration with vendors and obtain customer approval.
• Monitor fixture status and compliance with vendors on a weekly basis.
• Support Customer PPAP approval, submission, and early containment during plant and customer launches.
• Ensure Gauge R and Gauge R&R are completed and approved by the customer.
• Assist manufacturing facilities with process improvements and documentation reviews.

Requirements

• University or College degree with an emphasis in Quality or Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in metal stamping and assembly environments.
• Proficiency in reading and establishing GD&T.
• Strong knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and process measurement.
• Expertise in AIAG and ISO standards.
• Strong computer skills for office administration and documentation management.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.
• Ability to travel within Canada to various plant locations.
