Process Engineer

Responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end improvement of engineering, manufacturing, and product support processes across the product lifecycle
• Analyze existing product structure concepts and develop strategies for new PLM platforms
• Author new process documents to guide engineering end users and define configuration requirements
• Lead and mature configuration management practices to ensure accurate, controlled product data
• Develop and implement program transition plans to enable effective adoption of new tools and digital thread practices
• Partner with IT and software vendors to share requirements and support solution validations
• Contribute to PLM roadmap definition, tool enablement, and process standardization

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, mathematics, data science, computer science, or a related field
• Experience with PLM systems and digital thread integration (e.g., requirements, CAD/MBE, EBOM/MBOM, change control)
• Knowledge of configuration management (CM) including baselines, versioning, and change control
• Experience with product structure and EBOM/MBOM mapping, transformation, and synchronization
• Proficiency in data modeling and master data governance, including attribute models and lifecycle states
• Experience with workflow design and automation within PLM environments
• Understanding of lifecycle and systems engineering concepts such as requirements traceability and design control

Preferred Qualifications

• 8+ years of related professional work experience
• 5+ years of experience with CAD/MBE
• Background in aerospace product development, certification, or airworthiness compliance
• Familiarity with Critical Chain Project Management
