Process Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the organizational process hierarchy and BGS Engineering Process Model
• Utilize process modeling techniques, such as SIPOC, to define boundaries for new and existing workflows
• Oversee the central process repository and manage documentation governance
• Collaborate with technical SMEs and senior leadership to ensure visibility of project milestones
• Prepare reports, status updates, and presentations to communicate project implementation and outcomes
• Evaluate and adopt new tools and process strategies to automate workflows and streamline processes
• Support core engineering leadership reviews and capability teams to drive standardization

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience within an engineering discipline (e.g., industrial, mechanical, process, systems, or quality engineering)
• 3+ years of Project management experience
• 1+ years of experience working with cross-functional or cross-organizational teams

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of higher education and/or related work experience
• 1+ years of experience in developing and managing metrics and RIOs
• Experience with the support or development of program standards, policies, and procedures
• Proficiency in creating data-driven spreadsheets (Excel macros, pivot tables) or programming languages like Python for automation
• 3+ years of program or platform-facing experience in BCA, BDS, or BGS
