Process Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop, design, and optimize chemical processes for the Radical Polymer portfolio, focusing on scale-up from laboratory and pilot scale to industrial production.
• Improve the performance of existing installations, revamp existing sections, or design new ones in collaboration with the Production Manager.
• Conduct process simulations and calculations on unit operations to prepare technical documentation, including heat and material balances, P&IDs, and equipment specifications.
• Evaluate all safety aspects related to new processes and provide support during the detailed engineering phase.
• Collaborate closely with the Research and Development group to interpret data and perform process modeling.

Requirements

• Master’s Degree in Chemical Engineering.
• Solid knowledge of chemical reaction engineering and unit operations (distillation, separation, heat exchange, etc.).
• Understanding of process equipment such as pumps and compressors.
• Advanced proficiency in both Italian and English.
• Willingness and ability for geographical mobility.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for technical roles.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous professional experience in process design and development.
• Strong computational skills and experience with process simulation software.
