Process Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead site-based process engineering projects to drive continuous improvement and resolve chronic manufacturing issues
• Introduce new products or re-site existing products within the manufacturing facility
• Support and deploy global best practices and manufacturing standards across the organization
• Manage long-term strategic projects set by the global process engineering team while supporting short-term tactical site requests
• Promote a culture of process safety, quality, and customer service
• Support new capital investments and technology implementations

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering
• 5–10+ years of experience in quality, manufacturing, or process engineering
• Proven background in continuous improvement with experience in problem-solving and root cause analysis
• Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably with composite materials, adhesives, or continuous web processes (paper, film, foil, or textile)
• Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach to decision-making
• Ability to travel 5-10% and work outside normal hours as required by projects

Preferred Qualifications

• Six Sigma Black Belt certification
• Understanding of quality systems such as ISO9001 or AS9100
• Experience engaging cross-functional teams to solve process capability problems
