About the role

Responsibilities

  • Develop, establish, and optimize injection molding procedures to ensure consistent product quality and operational efficiency
  • Evaluate and recommend tool construction designs and engineering changes to enhance manufacturability
  • Utilize root cause analysis and troubleshooting techniques to resolve manufacturing process issues
  • Lead new product introductions, including process development, validation, and CAPEX investment support
  • Oversee the installation of new equipment and modifications to existing machinery
  • Design and implement new equipment, gauging systems, processes, and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Lead Continuous Improvement projects and Kaizen events to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost metrics
  • Champion the implementation of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) procedures and control plans
  • Serve as a liaison between operators, suppliers, customers, and R&D teams

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering field
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in Injection Molding Process Engineering
  • Proven experience with single-shot, two-shot, and three-shot injection molding processes
  • Experience with insert molding, hot stamping, pad printing, and end-of-arm tooling (EOAT) design
  • Demonstrated experience with automation systems, including robots, vision systems, and automated packaging
  • Strong background in Kaizen, Continuous Improvement, and Lean Manufacturing methodologies
  • Familiarity with Quality Management Systems such as ISO9001:2015
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Willingness to travel occasionally (less than 10%)
