Process Engineer Specialist

Responsibilities

• Design engineering solutions, including methods, operation sequences, and processes for manufacturing parts, component sub-assemblies, and final assemblies.
• Develop and implement cost estimates, capacity models, time standards, and production area layouts for new product introductions.
• Lead project teams of manufacturing engineers and partners to execute reliable, cost-effective, and high-quality manufacturing solutions.
• Collaborate with management and manufacturing partners regarding process compliance and problem resolution.
• Represent the manufacturing engineering team during all phases of complex development and manufacturing projects.
• Provide guidance and mentoring to less-experienced staff members.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technology or manufacturing-related engineering discipline or equivalent.
• 4-8 years of relevant professional experience.
• Proficiency in using engineering tools and software packages to design and automate manufacturing processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Solid understanding of material properties and hardware/electrical component design.
• Experience using empirical analysis, modeling, and methodologies to validate manufacturing processes and tooling.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with mastery of English and the local language.
• Ability to communicate manufacturing plans and negotiate options at management levels.
