About the role
Responsibilities
- Design, optimize, and provide technical support for manufacturing processes and equipment.
- Lead the introduction of new products and technologies by developing engineering dossiers and working with R&D and production teams.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, cost, and yield using Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
- Manage CAPEX investment projects, including simulations, mass/energy balances, PFD, P&ID, and HAZOP studies.
- Ensure process safety and regulatory compliance by managing PSM elements (PHA, PSSR, MOC) and adhering to industry standards.
- Train teams on processes and equipment to ensure operational excellence.
Requirements
- Engineering degree, preferably in Chemical Engineering.
- 5 years of experience in a chemical production environment.
- Strong knowledge of national health and safety legislation.
- Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- Regulatory knowledge including SEVESO/COMAH and ATEX.
- Proven experience in project management.
- Fluency in English and excellent communication skills.
