Process Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, optimize, and provide technical support for manufacturing processes and equipment.
• Lead the introduction of new products and technologies by developing engineering dossiers and working with R&D and production teams.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, cost, and yield using Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
• Manage CAPEX investment projects, including simulations, mass/energy balances, PFD, P&ID, and HAZOP studies.
• Ensure process safety and regulatory compliance by managing PSM elements (PHA, PSSR, MOC) and adhering to industry standards.
• Train teams on processes and equipment to ensure operational excellence.

Requirements

• Engineering degree, preferably in Chemical Engineering.
• 5 years of experience in a chemical production environment.
• Strong knowledge of national health and safety legislation.
• Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
• Regulatory knowledge including SEVESO/COMAH and ATEX.
• Proven experience in project management.
• Fluency in English and excellent communication skills.
