Process Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of process deliverables including PFDs, P&IDs, and heat and material balances
• Perform process and hydraulic modeling to support design decisions and system performance
• Support feasibility studies, including technical evaluations and cost inputs
• Coordinate with mechanical, civil, structural, electrical, and controls teams for integrated design
• Interface with vendors during equipment selection, bid evaluation, and submittal review
• Support client discussions, resolve technical comments, and align on design direction
• Provide guidance and support for internal quality reviews

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering or a related engineering field
• 8+ years of professional engineering experience
• Strong experience developing and reviewing core process design deliverables
• Ability to work across multiple disciplines in a project environment
• Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in industrial, infrastructure, or regulated environments
• Familiarity with process modeling tools such as Aspen HYSYS
• Experience supporting feasibility studies and design engineering
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or currently working toward licensure
• Experience with brownfield facility upgrades or expansions
