Process Engineer Operational Excellence

Responsibilities

• Analyze and optimize production and supply chain processes to increase efficiency, quality, and cost performance
• Manage target costs and identify/implement cost-reduction potential throughout the value chain
• Conduct value stream analyses and derive sustainable improvement measures
• Lead interdisciplinary projects in the field of Operational Excellence and implement Lean methods
• Prepare investment decisions through economic and feasibility analyses
• Further develop standardized methods, processes, and digital solutions within the supply chain

Requirements

• Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a comparable field
• Multi-year relevant experience in production, supply chain, or operations
• Profound knowledge of Lean Management, Project Management, and methods such as Value Stream Analysis, FMEA, and SPC (Six Sigma/MTM is an advantage)
• Strong efficiency awareness and experience in cost calculation and target costing
• Proficiency in production processes (manual, semi-automated, and fully automated)
• Proficient use of MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint) and SAP (MM, WM, PP)
• Strong analytical skills, a hands-on mentality, and persuasion skills for change management
• Fluency in German and English (minimum B2/C1); French skills are an advantage
