Process Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide project engineering support and coordination for commercial, infrastructure, production modernization, and stockpile projects.
• Support the planning, design, and implementation of new machine tools and infrastructure upgrades.
• Provide technical integration, leadership, and guidance to multi-disciplined engineering teams for high-profile plant initiatives.
• Apply ASME Nuclear Quality Assurance (NQA-1) requirements for work within nuclear facilities.
• Establish detailed project design scopes, budgets, and schedules.
• Coordinate engineering efforts with Production, Maintenance, Project Management, Construction, Startup, and Project Controls personnel.
• Review project engineering progress against approved schedules and implement corrective actions as required.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree from an ABET-accredited school in a technical discipline with 10+ years of direct experience, or an MA/MS with 10+ years of experience.
• US citizenship is required due to government contract and clearance requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

• Active DOE Q Clearance or DOD equivalent.
