Process Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design time study methodology and establish baseline cycle times
• Develop clear, operator-friendly standardized work instructions
• Identify and implement improvements to assembly sequences and workstation workflows
• Lead root cause analysis on defects and quality escapes using 5 Why, Fishbone, or 8D
• Validate new and revised processes for quality, safety, and efficiency
• Propose fixture and tooling improvements to the Manufacturing Engineer
• Develop operator training content and visual aids

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of experience in process engineering
• Hands-on experience with time studies and work measurement
• Proficiency in Lean manufacturing and kaizen methodology
• Experience with process sheets, visual documentation, and assembly line layouts
• Familiarity with ERP systems, AutoCAD, and advanced Excel

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with UL standards (UL508A, UL67, UL891)
