Process Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop and support new and existing optical communication products to meet or exceed customer expectations
• Optimize processes to ensure competitive product standard time and yield
• Provide technical support to customers, suppliers, and internal personnel
• Manage process documentation deviations, including changes to materials and technical parameters
• Support R&D Engineers and Product Managers in reviewing new designs for manufacturing feasibility
• Evaluate technology feasibility for cost reduction and quality improvement
• Follow up on plant scrap and IPQC issues, performing root cause analysis and implementing corrective measures

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in optical communication products
• Demonstrated ability to analyze information and solve problems with professional solutions
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for clear information exchange
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Process experience with optical communication products, specifically optical connectors
• Proficiency in optical communication product processes
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes, Six Sigma, and Lean methodologies
