About the role
Responsibilities
- Plan, design, validate, and improve assembly systems, processes, and equipment procedures for modular automotive products.
- Develop and implement continuous improvement projects using lean manufacturing tools such as 5S, Root-Cause Analysis, and Poka-Yoke.
- Analyze data to identify root causes of defects and implement corrective actions to improve product yield and reduce scrap.
- Lead injection molding process optimization by adjusting processing parameters and improving cycle efficiency.
- Work on co-extrusion die design and process development.
- Assist the Health & Safety team with the design and implementation of ergonomic projects.
- Support the development of PFMEA, FMEA, PCP, and PFD documentation.
- Update program documentation, work instructions, procedure manuals, and plant layouts.
- Develop efficient manufacturing methods through labor utilization standards, machine capacity, and cost analysis.
Requirements
- University degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Engineering Technology.
- 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing processes such as stamping, injection molding, co-extrusion, fabrication, welding, or assembly.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Outlook).
- Knowledge of CAD, including 3D Models, Drawings, and GD&T.
- Excellent English communication, organizational, and time management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience working within an automotive manufacturing environment.
