Process Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide daily technical support to the operations team and manage production SOPs.
• Lead on-field problem solving and investigate quality complaints related to process issues.
• Drive process optimization projects focused on continuous improvement and cost savings.
• Maintain and enhance the SOP system and provide relevant training to technicians.
• Monitor production line KPIs including Final Prime, Raw Material Efficiency, OEE, and energy efficiency.
• Collaborate with HSE teams to enhance workshop performance and oversee process hazard analysis.
• Improve quality consistency and process capability using pFMEA and Minitab.
• Partner with production schedulers, maintenance teams, and PT teams for new product introductions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Macromolecular Materials, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• Technical understanding of polymer-related processes and equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with experience leading RCA/PHA initiatives.
• Familiarity with P&ID, PFMEA, statistical tools, and Minitab.
• Experience with DCS batch setup and maintenance.
• Fluency in both English and Chinese.

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 3 years of field experience in the fine chemical, macromolecule, or polymerization industry.
• Proven experience in process improvement and engineering.
• Knowledge of Six Sigma and LEAN manufacturing methodologies.
