Process Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide daily technical support to the operations team and manage production SOPs.
• Lead on-field problem solving to improve operational safety, quality, equipment reliability, and efficiency.
• Oversee process safety by conducting process hazard analysis (PHA) and ensuring Management of Change (MOC) implementation.
• Drive continuous improvement projects focused on production KPIs, including OEE, raw material efficiency, and energy efficiency.
• Lead investigations into quality complaints and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with maintenance and production scheduling teams to optimize machine reliability and production schedules.
• Support new raw material and new product introductions in cooperation with the PT and operation teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Macromolecular Materials, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of field experience in the fine chemical, macromolecule chemical, or polymerization industry.
• Technical understanding of polymer-related processes and equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with experience leading RCA/PHA initiatives.
• Proficiency with SAP, P&ID, PFMEA, and statistical tools such as Minitab.
• Experience with DCS batch setup and maintenance.
• Fluency in English with strong presentation and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with twin screw extruders.
• Knowledge of compounding manufacturing processes.
• Background in Six Sigma or Lean manufacturing methodologies.
• Proven track record in process improvement and engineering projects.
