Process Engineer

Responsibilities

• Manage Engineering Technicians within the support cell
• Oversee assigned project phases to ensure successful completion within budgeted time and cost constraints
• Assist in the design and modification of tooling and fixturing for new product introductions
• Improve existing manufacturing processes
• Prepare documentation, reports, and summaries to communicate project progress and results

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical, mechanical, materials, or chemical engineering
• 4+ years of related experience in thermal barrier coating operations or coatings-manufacturing equipment
• Alternatively, 12+ years of equivalent combination of education and experience
• Proficiency with personal computers and business administration know-how
• Working knowledge of quality control systems
• Ability to work as a self-starter with minimal supervision
• Ability to positively influence team members to achieve organizational goals

Preferred Qualifications

• Robotic troubleshooting and programming experience (ABB and Fanuc)
• LEAN / Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
