Process Engineer

Responsibilities

• Support process engineering activities including process calculations, data analysis, and technical document preparation.
• Participate in the development and review of PFDs, P&IDs, mass and heat balances, and process specifications.
• Provide technical support during engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and start-up phases.
• Assist in coordinating project activities with various departments, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Support the selection and evaluation of process equipment and materials to ensure reliability and compliance.
• Participate in process risk assessments, HAZOP studies, and safety reviews to mitigate operational risks.
• Maintain technical reports, project documentation, and progress updates.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in industrial operations, process engineering, or a projects environment.
• Proficiency in process calculations and data analysis.
• Ability to read and review PFDs, P&IDs, and technical drawings.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and engineering software tools.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience within the cement industry.
• Exposure to engineering projects, commissioning activities, or process improvement initiatives.
• Basic knowledge of project planning and scheduling tools.
