Process Engineer II

Responsibilities

• Improve production efficiency and process flow across adhesive manufacturing lines using lean and Six Sigma tools
• Execute scale-up activities for new and revised products, including preparing process parameters and trial plans
• Apply mixing and dispersion science to achieve repeatable batch performance and material homogeneity
• Standardize critical processes by creating work instructions, control plans, and running Statistical Process Control (SPC)
• Perform process validation according to ISO quality-system requirements
• Resolve process-related customer issues through root cause analysis and corrective actions
• Maintain technical documentation including flow diagrams, PFMEAs, and control plans

Requirements

• 5+ years in chemical manufacturing or process engineering
• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Manufacturing Engineering
• Proficiency in enterprise systems (JD Edwards E1 preferred) and SPC/BI tools
• Expertise in Lean, Six Sigma, process validation, PFMEA, and technical writing
• Ability to work in a manufacturing plant environment with regular shop-floor presence
• Ability to travel up to 10% for cross-site coordination
