About the role
Responsibilities
- Analyze productivity, yield, and overall equipment efficiency (OEE) of assigned processes
- Troubleshoot machinery alongside engineers and operators to ensure high yield and OEE
- Analyze quality issues and implement corrective actions to improve production
- Create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and train operators on correct implementation
- Optimize process conditions and specifications to ensure stable mass production
- Develop Process Flow Diagrams (PFD), PFMEA, and Control Plans (CP)
- Conduct continuous improvement activities, including MOST analysis and chronic defect reduction
- Manage non-conformance reports and respond to internal/external quality issues
- Maintain worksite cleanliness in accordance with 5S3R standards
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or equivalent related experience
- 0 to 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing-related role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- Strong technical analysis and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work in both office and manufacturing environments with hands-on equipment support
- Flexibility to work adjusted shifts and travel up to 10% as required
Preferred Qualifications
- Manufacturing co-op experience
- Knowledge of battery production processes
- Six Sigma or Lean manufacturing knowledge
- Experience with CAD software (AutoCAD, Solidworks, Catia, etc.)
- Korean language proficiency
