Process Engineer I

Responsibilities

• Analyze productivity, yield, and overall equipment efficiency (OEE) of assigned processes
• Troubleshoot machinery alongside engineers and operators to ensure high yield and OEE
• Analyze quality issues and implement corrective actions to improve production
• Create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and train operators on correct implementation
• Optimize process conditions and specifications to ensure stable mass production
• Develop Process Flow Diagrams (PFD), PFMEA, and Control Plans (CP)
• Conduct continuous improvement activities, including MOST analysis and chronic defect reduction
• Manage non-conformance reports and respond to internal/external quality issues
• Maintain worksite cleanliness in accordance with 5S3R standards

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or equivalent related experience
• 0 to 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing-related role
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
• Strong technical analysis and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work in both office and manufacturing environments with hands-on equipment support
• Flexibility to work adjusted shifts and travel up to 10% as required

Preferred Qualifications

• Manufacturing co-op experience
• Knowledge of battery production processes
• Six Sigma or Lean manufacturing knowledge
• Experience with CAD software (AutoCAD, Solidworks, Catia, etc.)
• Korean language proficiency
