Process Engineer I

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and refine manufacturing processes for solar panels and related components
• Analyze workflows to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements and waste reduction
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new production technologies
• Establish and maintain quality control standards to ensure products meet specifications
• Investigate process issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions
• Oversee the installation, operation, and maintenance of production equipment
• Monitor and analyze production metrics to track performance and identify areas for improvement
• Ensure manufacturing processes comply with safety regulations and environmental standards
• Assist supervisors in auditing production line 5S and standardization of operations

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, automation, or a related field
• Proficiency in electrical or mechanical maintenance, mechanical design, circuit design, or programming
• Proven experience in equipment engineering, design, and/or maintenance
• Strong problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail
• In-depth knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations
• Excellent interpersonal communication and team-building skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in solar module or wafer manufacturing
• Experience in glass manufacturing or working in cleanroom environments
• Project management or budget management experience
• Green Belt certification
