Process Engineer

Responsibilities

• Assist the manufacturing center in selecting process flow, equipment, and technical agreements
• Manage engineering and technical issues during production trial runs, equipment installation, and validation
• Improve production capacity and yield through debugging and process optimization
• Compile and review process flowcharts, process standards, and work instructions
• Solve on-site process problems in the cell production line and update quality issue lists
• Evaluate and introduce new equipment and technologies to the cell production line
• Develop process experiment plans, collect and analyze data, and summarize reports
• Conduct knowledge and skills training for production line employees

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above in electrochemistry, physical materials, materials engineering, or chemical engineering
• 2+ years of process engineer relative working experience
• Proficiency in process improvement, troubleshooting, and data analysis
• Familiarity with IATF 16949 quality system and methods including Control Plan, PFMEA, SPC, APQP, MSA, and PPAP
• Familiarity with FTA, seven QC tools, 8D, and 6 Sigma management tools
• Strong data collection, organization, and logical thinking skills
• Experience with lithium-ion battery principles and cell manufacturing processes is preferred
