Process Engineer

Responsibilities

• Apply basic engineering principles to support business objectives through feasibility studies and cost estimates.
• Develop engineering criteria and perform analyses to recommend design options for structures, systems, and components.
• Document work, assumptions, and detailed notes to ensure project clarity.
• Integrate supply chain cost analysis, value stream capabilities, and economic principles into existing processes.
• Utilize problem-solving techniques to resolve technical issues and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Adhere to established engineering and quality standards while seeking mentorship from senior leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related technical field, OR an Associate's degree in a related field plus 3 years of applicable engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and AutoCAD.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to apply engineering expertise to practical challenges.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate across production, engineering, and management teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 1 year of professional engineering experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Relevant experience in operations, logistics, or process improvement.
• Familiarity with Lean principles and project management concepts.
