Process Engineer

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with sales teams and customers to develop testing strategies and designs of experiments to define test goals
• Run field tests, collect data, generate reports, and communicate technical issues regarding test units to the engineering team
• Work with international teams in Germany to develop new applications and ensure test equipment is fit for purpose
• Provide process support for both new and existing installations
• Support after-sales service and customer support functions for GEA team members
• Provide monthly testing status reports covering past and future tests, goals, and resource utilization

Requirements

• 2 to 5 years of process engineering experience
• Knowledge of dairy or fresh cheese processes, including scheming and clarification processes
• Ability to travel 25% - 35% outside of Idaho
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• BS in an applicable Engineering field
