Process Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead cost improvement projects focused on quality and productivity
• Prepare and implement capital improvement projects
• Develop and facilitate lean processes and standard work instructions
• Identify and resolve process and quality problems for assigned manufacturing processes
• Work with quality and production teams to identify gaps and develop corrective actions
• Develop production process goals to meet sales and budgeted targets

Requirements

• 4-year engineering degree
• Lean Manufacturing experience
• Six Sigma Black Belt and/or Green Belt certification
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment

Preferred Qualifications

• 5 or more years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
• Experience with GD&T, APQP, and Product Design/Launch
• Proficiency with Minitab
• Experience in SMC processing, compression molding, or steel stamping
