Process Engineer

Responsibilities

• Drive cost, quality, and delivery improvements through manufacturing process optimization
• Define, implement, and evaluate proposed designs and processes for manufacturability
• Identify root causes of manufacturing process failures and implement effective problem-solving
• Establish robust, repeatable, and reproducible process parameters and control methodologies
• Prepare justifications for, purchase, and implement capital equipment for production
• Manage the introduction of engineering change orders (ECOs) and process documentation
• Participate in cycle time reduction and continuous improvement activities
• Interface with production teams during new process implementation and technology transfers
• Provide technical training to production personnel and assist with equipment maintenance

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related engineering field or equivalent experience and training
• 4 years of engineering experience within the high-technology electronics industry or a related area
