Process Engineer

Responsibilities

• Define, implement, and evaluate proposed designs and processes for manufacturability
• Identify root causes of failures in the manufacturing process through collaboration with engineering stakeholders
• Develop, implement, and take ownership of process control methodologies
• Implement statistical process research on new and existing products
• Establish robust, repeatable, and reproducible process parameters
• Prepare justifications for, purchase, and implement capital equipment for production
• Manage the introduction of engineering change orders (ECOs)
• Troubleshoot process-related issues and participate in cycle time and process improvement activities
• Develop and maintain comprehensive process documentation
• Assist in the development and delivery of training to production personnel during new technology transfers

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience and training
• 2 years of professional experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment
• Proficiency in root cause analysis
• Experience with process control methodologies
• Ability to conduct statistical process research
