Process Engineer

Responsibilities

• Solve complex problems to improve yield in adhesive coating and lamination processes
• Utilize statistical analysis tools to make data-driven decisions for product quality improvement
• Partner with production operators to implement process improvements based on feedback
• Work with product engineering teams to introduce new products involving diverse materials and process steps
• Prepare justifications, purchase, and implement capital equipment for production
• Develop and maintain comprehensive process documentation
• Lead cost improvement and reduction programs
• Provide equipment maintenance and repair support as required
• Assist in the development and delivery of training for production personnel during technology transfers

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering preferred)
• 3 years of experience in a highly regulated manufacturing environment (e.g., Medical, Automotive, or Aerospace)
• Knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies (cycle time, continuous improvement, DMAIC)
• Experience with screen printing, photo exposing, circuit etching, plating, or similar processing

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AutoCAD, AutoCAD Inventor, or Microsoft Access
• Experience with PLC troubleshooting
