Process Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide process engineering support for operations within the chemical plant or refinery
• Offer technical advice and support to resolve daily operational issues
• Perform unit optimization, troubleshooting, and de-bottlenecking studies
• Lead or participate in safety initiatives, including risk assessments and HAZOP reviews
• Support ongoing reliability improvements and the development of equipment strategies
• Analyze complex technical issues to propose recommendations for decision-making
• Develop and execute projects aimed at margin improvement

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field from a recognized university
• Knowledge of process modeling software and technical computing tools
• Familiarity with the development of H&MB, PFD, and P&IDs
• Understanding of design specifications for process equipment
• Good knowledge of industry standards and practices related to process design and safety
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to multitask
