Process Engineer

Responsibilities

• Support the identification of potential business options and conduct preliminary competitive assessments
• Assess opportunities consistent with business strategies and project needs
• Develop project objectives and strategies, ensuring adequate documentation and communication
• Define overall project scope, including preliminary equipment design and case selection
• Lead, facilitate, and coordinate gate reviews to obtain Project Steering Committee endorsement
• Lead the development of project gate deliverables (stages 1-3), such as design basis and safety reviews
• Coordinate the development of project cost and schedule estimates
• Develop screening economics and evaluate alternatives to select preferred options
• Determine appropriate project delivery formats and execution models

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering
• 10 years of experience in downstream or upstream project development
• Working knowledge of process technology and process design and optimization
• Knowledge of project economics and project management
• Experience with concept selection and process safety
