About the role

About the Company

Enexor is a venture-backed, early-stage climate tech company developing distributed systems that turn organic and plastic waste into clean energy and high-purity CO₂.

Responsibilities

  • Design and simulate separation processes including cyclic adsorption (TSA/PSA) flowsheets
  • Perform detailed mass and energy balances for energy systems and carbon capture
  • Translate models into hardware by generating PFDs and P&IDs
  • Size pressure vessels, adsorption beds, heat exchangers, pumps, and piping networks
  • Create or review 3D CAD layouts and AutoCAD schematics
  • Support fabrication, commissioning, and testing through instrumentation and loop checks
  • Use testing results to refine simulation parameters and optimize hardware
  • Collaborate with chemical, mechanical, and controls engineers

Requirements

  • B.S. or M.S. in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
  • 3–8 years of experience designing and simulating adsorption or gas-separation processes
  • Expertise in Aspen Plus, gPROMS, or equivalent modeling software
  • Deep understanding of mass-transfer, reaction kinetics, and heat-transfer
  • Proven ability to validate models through lab-scale or pilot-scale experimentation
  • Experience sizing pressure vessels, piping, and mechanical components
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks, Inventor, or AutoCAD
  • Familiarity with pilot-scale builds and on-site troubleshooting

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Aspen Adsorption or cyclic adsorption systems (TSA/PSA)
  • Experience designing modular or containerized process skids
  • Knowledge of control-system co-simulation (DCS/PLC)
  • Experience with CFD or multiphase-flow modeling
  • Experience scaling processes from pilot to commercial units
  • Familiarity with gas-analysis instrumentation
