About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead continuous improvement events such as 5Y, Fishbone, and Kaizen to optimize manufacturing operations.
- Apply Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles to eliminate waste and reduce process variability.
- Standardize and maintain work instructions, training guides, and standard work procedures.
- Investigate customer complaints and internal quality issues using root cause analysis (PFMEA, DMAIC, 5 Whys).
- Collaborate with production teams and floor operators to identify equipment issues and implement practical solutions.
- Manage CAPEX budgets and high-dollar strategic projects, including equipment upgrades and plant transformations.
- Support new product introductions by collaborating with suppliers on prototyping, testing, and performance evaluation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or a related engineering field.
- 2 years of experience in production manufacturing (Plastic or Rubber industry experience is a plus).
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience managing strategic projects and CAPEX budgets.
- Proficiency in CAD, SolidWorks, and AutoCAD 2D.
- Experience with ERP/CRM systems such as SAP.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to diagnose complex process and equipment issues.
Preferred Qualifications
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
- Experience with automation and digitalization procedures in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with ISO process auditing and document control.
