About the role
Responsibilities
- Ensure process control and stability by improving existing manufacturing processes and capabilities
- Lead manufacturing improvement initiatives, including variability reduction, defect reduction, and process control improvement
- Evaluate process cost, quality, and capability alternatives, implementing continuous improvements through automation
- Manage project work scopes including equipment selection, design, development, installation, and start-up
- Develop and update manufacturing process documentation such as MPIs and VAs
- Utilize statistical tools and Lean/DMAIC methodologies to support robust manufacturing processes
- Support problem-solving in manufacturing through root cause identification and resolution
- Propose and implement safety and ergonomic improvements (iKaizen) and 5S implementation
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electronic, Industrial Engineering, Physics, or a related field
- 2–4 years of experience in manufacturing engineering
- Proven experience as a Manufacturing or Process Engineer
- Proficiency with root cause analysis tools and process improvement methodologies
- Advanced conversational English skills
- Strong knowledge of Six Sigma and statistical analysis (histograms, regression, DOE, etc.)
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Project Management (Agile, DMAIC)
Preferred Qualifications
- Green Belt or Lean Certification
- Proficiency with Power BI
- Basic 3D printing and design knowledge
- Experience with New Product Introduction (NPI)
