Process Engineer

Responsibilities

• Support operations through process troubleshooting and improvements to increase plant reliability and capacity
• Coordinate and participate in HAZOP studies to manage process safety
• Develop process improvement proposals for project implementation and execution
• Perform plant trials for process improvements and raw material qualification
• Initiate and manage capital projects
• Perform basic Process Engineering Design
• Monitor process trends and product quality to ensure conformance

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering
• Up to 10 years of relevant experience in the refinery, petrochemical, or chemical industry
• Knowledge in Process Design and Engineering
• Familiarity with ASME & API codes and standards
• Knowledge in HAZOP, Root Cause Analysis, and Statistical Process Control (SPC)
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff and across functional groups
