Process Engineer

Responsibilities

• Ensure manufacturing process compliance with legal, safety, and Bosch standards
• Manage design approval, line build coordination, installation, and line release
• Perform new product layout reviews and DFM feedback
• Maintain KPIs including Utilization, FPY, and Scrap (IDC)
• Improve productivity by reducing downtime and optimizing cycle time
• Eliminate internal and customer defects using A3PSS and PDCA approaches
• Design and procure respective tooling and set up process parameters
• Prepare and execute technical readiness for NPI and ECR
• Solve 2nd level machine downtime problems and develop high uptime concepts
• Participate in PFMEA and CP improvements with Cross Functional Teams
• Implement benchmark practices and drive cost reduction initiatives

Requirements

• B.E in Electrical & Electronics Engineering or Mechatronics
• 3 to 4 years of experience in automotive electronics manufacturing
• Experience with SMT soldering processes and manual soldering
• Knowledge of PCB design guidelines and component data sheets
• Understanding of soldering metallurgy, flux chemistry, and surface energy
• Proficiency in IPC Standards (IPC-A-610, IPC J-STD-001, IPC-7711/7721)
• Knowledge of ESD control (ANSI/ESD S20.20)
• Awareness of IATF 16949 and ISO 9001
• Experience with problem-solving methodologies (PDCA, A3 PSS, 4M, 5 Why, FMEA)
• Knowledge of machine telegrams and MES/traceability system communication
