Process Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide technical engineering support and expertise to Packaging & Labelling Operations, including equipment performance monitoring and process optimization.
• Act as the Engineering representative on the Packaging & Labelling Operations Process Team to ensure uninterrupted commercial product supply.
• Serve as the system owner for packaging equipment and associated automation recipes.
• Provide Subject Matter Expertise (SME) for capital projects, including design, qualification, cycle development, and GMP release.
• Lead investigations into equipment issues and implement effective Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPAs).
• Drive continuous improvement and process optimization using tools such as DMAIC, SMED, and FMEA.
• Implement equipment recipe updates for artwork changes, SKU launches, and technology transfers.
• Ensure all activities comply with cGMP, global policies, and safety requirements.

Requirements

• BA Degree in Engineering (Process, Chemical, Mechanical, or equivalent discipline).
• Ability to work onsite in Cork, Ireland.
• Understanding of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).

Preferred Qualifications

• Training or experience in Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing.
• Experience in a biologics manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of packaging automation and serialization requirements.
