Process Engineer – Biological Effluent Treatment Plant

Responsibilities

• Own and monitor biological Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) performance to ensure stable operation and regulatory compliance
• Optimize key processes including aeration, chemical dosing, and sludge management
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for day-to-day operations and process upsets
• Analyze process and compliance data, manage sampling, and support audits and reporting
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and lead changes using MOC principles
• Promote strong health, safety, and environmental standards across the site

Requirements

• Degree in Chemical, Environmental, or a related Engineering discipline
• Experience working with industrial wastewater or effluent treatment processes
• Strong problem-solving skills and confidence in analyzing process data
• Knowledge of environmental permitting and compliance requirements
