Process Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design complete process installations and production lines for both greenfield and brownfield projects.
• Manage all project phases, from creating block diagrams and mass-energy balances to developing technical specifications.
• Translate process guidelines into robust, technically feasible designs, integrating mechanical, electrical, automation, and logistics disciplines.
• Act as a central link within the project team, coordinating with internal stakeholders, Engineering Service Providers, and suppliers.
• Monitor technological, technical, and safety developments to implement improvements in design and working methods.
• Support the realization and startup of installations and translate practical experience into future project improvements.

Requirements

• HBO+ level technical degree (e.g., Process Technology, Chemical/Food Technology, or Mechanical Engineering).
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in designing production processes and associated utilities.
• Proficiency with 2D and 3D engineering software packages.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to align various stakeholders.
• Proficiency in both Dutch and English (written and spoken).
• Willingness to visit various Aviko locations for project work.
