Process Engineer

Responsibilities

• Participate in process studies for refining, petrochemical, and chemical projects
• Design unit plans including PFD and PID and participate in client reviews
• Perform material, thermal, and utility balances
• Establish or validate hydraulic calculations, simulations, and safety reviews
• Size equipment or control valves using simulation tools or spreadsheets
• Write specification sheets for equipment such as pumps, exchangers, tanks, instruments, and safety valves
• Incorporate client expectations and specifications throughout projects
• Address safety aspects and participate in HAZOP reviews
• Participate in and lead project meetings with clients

Requirements

• Master's degree (Bac+5) in process engineering, chemical engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 6 years of experience in a design office or industrial production support
• Proficiency in core process skills including hydraulics and thermics
• Good level of written and spoken English
• Proficiency in HYSYS, PROII, and Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and MASE quality procedures
