Process Engineer

Responsibilities

• Participate in process studies for refining, petrochemical, and chemical projects
• Design unit plans (PFD, PID) and participate in client reviews
• Perform material, thermal, and utility balances
• Establish or validate calculations (hydraulics, simulations, safety reviews)
• Size equipment or control valves using simulation tools or spreadsheets
• Write specification sheets for equipment (pumps, exchangers, tanks), instruments, and safety valves
• Incorporate client expectations and specifications throughout projects
• Address safety aspects and participate in HAZOP reviews
• Participate in and lead project meetings with clients

Requirements

• Master's degree (Bac+5) in Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of experience in process engineering (production or engineering) within refining or chemical sectors
• Proficiency in core process skills (hydraulics, thermal, etc.)
• Good level of English (written and oral)
• Proficiency in HYSYS, PROII, and Microsoft Office
• Rigorous, methodical, and strong analytical skills
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and MASE quality procedures
