Process Engineer

Responsibilities

• Participate in process studies for nuclear, chemical, petrochemical, and waste treatment projects
• Design unit plans (PFD, PID) and participate in client reviews
• Perform material, thermal, and utility balances
• Establish or validate hydraulic, thermal, and aerological calculations and unit operation simulations
• Size equipment or control valves using simulation tools or spreadsheets
• Define instruments and unit operating modes
• Participate in unit layout and configuration studies
• Write equipment specification sheets (pumps, exchangers, tanks, columns, etc.)
• Conduct supplier research and technical analysis of offers
• Assist in drafting operating manuals, startup procedures, and commissioning tests
• Participate in HAZOP reviews and safety assessments

Requirements

• Engineering degree specializing in process engineering
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in a similar role
• Experience in the nuclear or industrial sector preferred
• Knowledge of Eurocodes regulations
• Familiarity with nuclear industry standards (AFCEN, etc.)
• Strong analytical and synthesis skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
